Talk About an Epic Hamburger…

Behold! The Mega Mac! It’s a “Bigger” version of MacDonald’s Famous “Big Mac” Sandwiches–and it’s only available in Japan. Looking at this makes me hungry. Eating this would probably make you full for a few days! Don’t think that it will be coming to the US, or anywhere else soon. I can just see all the lawsuits…

If you want to try it out, it’s really four Big Mac burgers in one. If you have enough cash to spare, just order them and remove the bread from the other three and stack them on the fourth Big Mac, and there you have it! Your very own Mega Mac! I have thought about trying it, but I’m watching my weight…

    haha that’s a big sandwich and not so appetizing :P Looks like - in typical Japanese fast food fashion - the drink cup is still small (compared to in America). I’d need more soda to down that thing :P

    @ Shay: You’re right. The drink is kind of small, lol.

    @ Shannon: Hmm, I guess that’s why it’s only in Japan…*Recalls that Hot Dog eating guy, Kobayashi*

    I forgot to mention, that the burger has been around for several months. It was originally for a limited time about a year ago, then they brought it back due to “popular demand”, lol.

    We had the MegaMac in the UK a few years ago. I believe some restraunts still do it.

    I wasn’t a fan to be honest. When Mcdonalds add one patty on top of another like this, the greasiness of the burger increases exponentially.
    Something to do with the way they lift the patties off the grill, the grease from one drains onto another.

    As for the size, it looks big, but each of the four patties is still only a tenth of a pound (uncooked weight)

    Burger King’s Double Whoppers and Mcdonald’s Double Quarter pounders contain more meat than the Mega Mac.

    That is a huge sandwich. Who has a mouth that big to take a bite? Maybe they should start making a longer hamburger sandwich instead of a taller one.

    I’m not for McDonald’s food so looking at that mega burger made my stomach do flips.

    Sadly enough, I can see a bunch of people lining up ready to blame that burger for their problems should it be introduced to the US. Which is why, no doubt, it’s only available in Japan.

    @ Angelika: I saw that movie too, lol. I haven’t eaten much as I used to at McD’s since I saw it. Though I find myself eating at Krystal’s more.. Mini Burgers for the win.
